Stop Watching Lectures: The USMLE Classes Built for Active Recall

Watching lectures at 2x feels productive, but the NBME doesn’t test what you’ve watched. It tests what you can pull out of your own head under pressure.

In this episode, I walk through every class I teach for Step 1, Step 2 CK, Step 3 and COMLEX, and why none of them are lectures. Every class is built on active recall: clinical vignettes, graphs, tables and arrow questions, presented the way the NBME presents them. You fill in a workbook live, we integrate across subjects, and we cover high-yield material most resources skip.

You’ll also hear about the new rapid review sheets that come with the 20-hour course, the Biostatistics Boot Camp and the Social Sciences and Ethics class. They’re organized by the USMLE content outline and built for the last few days before your exam.
