In this episode, I focus on 3 things; ACLS and detailed management of the different ACLS rhythms, HY arrhythmias and their acute management (VTach, Afib, Aflutter, WPW, SVT, etc etc), and the HY cardiac agents that are tested on exams. The material in this podcast is applicable to all the USMLE exams and the ABIM/Medicine ITE exam. A few questions usually pop up related to these concepts all the time. There are no attached slides.

Divine Intervention Episode 97 – The “Most Important” Podcast (USMLEs)
In this podcast, which is a sequel to the risk factors and preventive medicine podcast, I spend time focusing on a new area of NBME interest which are the “most important prognostic factors, complications, physical exam findings, predictors of survival, etc etc”. I also discuss some other risk factors and then spend time at the end highlighting malignancies associated with infectious agents. This podcast is short, but floridly high yield. There are no attached slides.
Divine Intervention Episode 88 – USMLE Step 3/Medicine ITE/ABIM Review Series 3 (Meningitis)
Given the fact that this podcast series is likely going to be used by M4’s/residents, I will start making the Step 3/ABIM/MITE series shorter so you can get in some studying if you have a 15-20 min break or have a drive to the hospital. In view of this, there will be many more podcasts for this series (and I will start making them more frequently). There are no attached slides. In this episode, I detail essentially everything you need to know about meningitis for these 3 exams. One important tidbit I forgot to mention is giving IV Dexamethasone about 15 mins before starting abx therapy if you suspect S. Pneumo as the offending organism. You do this for 4 days. There are no attached slides.
Divine Intervention Episode 75 – USMLE Step 3/Medicine ITE/ABIM Board Review Series 2 (Endocrinology)
In this podcast, I continue our review by going over a vast majority of the endocrinology that is potentially testable on these exams while integrating multiple disciplines. I plan to have one more podcast where I finish up my discussion of endocrine to essentially form a thorough endocrinology review for the highlighted exams. There are no attached slides.
Divine Intervention Episode 74 – USMLE Step 3/Medicine ITE/ABIM Board Review Series 1
In this podcast (series 1 of many to come), I begin to discuss topics that are targeted primarily towards residents preparing for the USMLE Step 3 exam and the Internal Medicine In Training Exam (ITE). This would also potentially help with the medicine boards but that is not my primary focus with this podcast. I utilize a format where I present a classic vignette, highlight the diagnosis, spend an extended period discussing the testable information relating to the diagnosis (and related diseases), and then give some HY info at the end relating to tests that should be ordered (especially for the CCS portion of Step 3). There are no attached slides as all information is in the podcast.
Divine Intervention Episode 69 – USMLE Anatomy Series 2
This is a continuation of Episode 44 where I begin to discuss anatomy as relevant to the USMLE Step 1 Exam. I would take the scenarios very seriously as these are very commonly tested. Slides attached.
Divine Intervention Episode 68 – Psych Pharm Part 2 (Final Part)
In this episode, I round up my discussion of psych pharm as relevant to the USMLEs. Highly recommend listening to this if you are taking any of the USMLEs and the psych/neuro shelf. There are no accompanying slides.
Divine Intervention Episode 67 – Psych Pharmacology (Part 1 of 2)
In this episode, I begin an integrated discussion of the psych meds as relevant to the USMLE exams. I discuss the drugs used for depression, anxiety, sleep, and some minor disorders. No slides attached as all the relevant information is in the podcast. Watch out for Part 2…And happy new year!
Divine Intervention Episode 58 – Neurology Clerkship Shelf Review Part 7
In this episode, I continue our discussion of high yield material pertinent to the 3rd year neurology shelf exam. There will likely be 1 more podcast in this series to round out our discussion for the shelf. Please share with anyone who would benefit from these podcasts. Quick errata: AICA is a basilar artery branch, not a vertebral artery branch. Slides attached.
Divine Intervention Episode 58 Neurology Clerkship Shelf Review Part 7
Divine Intervention Episode 49 – 3rd Year Neurology Clerkship Shelf Review Part 6.
In this episode, we continue our discussion of neuro material relevant to the 3rd year Shelf exam and Step 2CK/3. All the neuro podcasts are HY, but this one is easily the highest yield of all. This will easily get you 10-15% of the questions on your neurology shelf correct (conservatively). Slides attached.
