OSA is commonly tested on the USMLE exams. But they also love using this as a topic to hit a bunch of other concepts that people do not think about. In this podcast, I address these concepts and also make a solid effort to help you understand the material.
Divine Intervention Episode 509: USMLE Step 2/3 Rapid Review Series 111 (MUST LISTEN for Step 2/3)
While this may be a rapid review podcast, I spend the entire time discussing different receptors and how they are integrated from a pharmacology and pathology perspective specifically for Step 2/3. The USMLEs now focus quite well on some basic science concepts from Step 1 directly on the Step 2CK/3 exams. This podcast addresses a classic area where they exploit this particular issue. Listen to this stuff AND know it well.
Divine Intervention Episode 508: The Clutch Sickle Cell Disease Podcast (for Step 1-3) Part 2

Divine Intervention Episode 507: The Clutch Sickle Cell Disease Podcast (for Step 1-3) Part 1
Sickle cell disease is easily a multisystems processes and disorders topic on the USMLEs. It can be tested in a myriad of ways and our friends at the NBMEs have a unique way of extending this concept to so many other disciplines. The goal of this podcast is to help you understand sickle cell disease but also help you see the many other ways they can go after this concept on the exams. In this episode alone, I have spent time talking about micro, social sciences/communication, etc. Definitely try to get through this before your exams if possible. Episode 508 will be the concluding part.
Divine Intervention Episode 506: Weird But HY Spinal Cord Disorders (for Step 1-3)
There are a series of spinal cord disorders that are not addressed in many review resources but have an uncanny ability to show up on all the USMLE exams. In this podcast, I collate these disorders together, discuss their classic presentations, emphasize differences between them, and also try to explain relevant pathophysiology where necessary. I also make a bunch of integrations with other disciplines.
Divine Intervention Episode 505: Why people fail USMLE exams (a thoughtful discourse)
In this podcast, I delve deep into specific reasons why people perform poorly on their USMLE exams. I obviously don’t know it all but I encourage you to keep an open mind and see how some of this information may apply to you. This podcast applies to almost any exam as well.
Divine Intervention Episode 504: A Super HY Discussion of Some USMLE Concepts + Testing Considerations (Step 2/3 Rapid Review Series 110)
This podcast is technically part of the rapid review series for Step 2/3. But there’s a twist here. I spend time discussing concepts, explaining pathophysiology, and showing integrations. But beyond this, I spend a decent amount of time talking about thought processes you should have if you plan to be successful with taking the newer USMLE exams. There’ll be a podcast coming soon on why people fail the USMLE exams and why there’s an increased number of failures.
Divine Intervention Episode 503: LFTs and The USMLEs
LFTs show up in one way or the other on practically every USMLE exam. In this podcast, I lay a solid foundation and use numerous vignettes and conceptual integrations to help you understand the material. This should help tremendously with these questions on test day. I delve into some concepts that are not found in many resources but occasionally show up on the test. Another recommended podcast in this series is Ep 257 on bilirubin. Email me via the website if you would love to join the USMLE classes taking place this week.
Divine Intervention Episode 502: USMLE Step 2/3 Rapid Review Series 109
In this podcast, I discuss a host of high yield material from many disciplines that show up on the USMLEs. I also spend time on some basic science details revolving around the immune system that are Step 2/3 worthy. I end with a life lesson on “moving on”.
