Divine Intervention Episode 111 – The “Clutch” Pharmacology Podcast Round 1

In this episode, I essentially walk through tons of drugs and the classic means by which they are tested on NBME exams. There will very likely be another iteration of this in the near future. Easily one of those podcasts that nets you 10-15 questions correct on any USMLE exam (Step 1-3). There are no attached slides.

In this episode, I focus on 3 things; ACLS and detailed management of the different ACLS rhythms, HY arrhythmias and their acute management (VTach, Afib, Aflutter, WPW, SVT, etc etc), and the HY cardiac agents that are tested on exams. The material in this podcast is applicable to all the USMLE exams and the ABIM/Medicine ITE exam. A few questions usually pop up related to these concepts all the time. There are no attached slides.

Divine Intervention Episode 102 – The “Clutch” Cancer Podcast.

In this episode, I basically spend time discussing the classic presentations and HY pieces of information tested by the NBME on all USMLE exams for the HY malignancies from head to toe. Just like the clutch micro podcast, this will likely net you 10+ correct questions on any of the USMLE exams (Step 1-3). There are no attached slides. And for those that have a family member dealing with malignancy, it is my prayer that they get an outcome that gives you and your family peace. It is tough to lose a loved one to cancer.

Divine Intervention Episode 100 – The “Clutch” Micro Podcast.

In this episode of the Divine Intervention Podcasts (our 100th, God is good!), I review Micro (viruses, fungi, bacteria) with a unique focus solely on clinical cases/presentations. This podcast basically helps you think in terms of the way the NBME would frame bugs in clinical presentations. I call this the clutch podcast because you will likely get a minimum of 15ish questions correct on any of the USMLEs (1/2CK/3) if you master the material in this podcast. There are no attached slides.

Divine Intervention Episode 97 – The “Most Important” Podcast (USMLEs)

In this podcast, which is a sequel to the risk factors and preventive medicine podcast, I spend time focusing on a new area of NBME interest which are the “most important prognostic factors, complications, physical exam findings, predictors of survival, etc etc”. I also discuss some other risk factors and then spend time at the end highlighting malignancies associated with infectious agents.  This podcast is short, but floridly high yield. There are no attached slides.
