This podcast is HY. Many people just memorize cardiac signs. The USMLEs over the last year has started placing an emphasis on making Qs a lot more challenging by describing these signs in weird integrated ways which makes it hard for some to even realize what is being tested. In this podcast, I begin to discuss some of these signs. I’ll hit some more within the next few podcasts.

Divine Intervention Episode 517: B3 and The USMLE
We all know that niacin deficiency causes pellagra…But our friends at the USMLEs love to draw their questions from the causes/integrations. That way they can easily test if you can see links between disparate symptoms and pathways. This short podcast essentially teaches you all of this in an easy to understand format. Also make sure you know the classic “image” they use for these patients.
Divine Intervention Episode 516: The Floridly HY Brain Tumor Podcast (for Step 1-3, lots of integrations)
This podcast is super HY. Lots of questions you could easily get right on your exam. I strongly believe that you should consider listening to this to obtain a better appreciation of/foundation before delving deep into understanding endocrinology.
Divine Intervention Episode 512: Mechanisms of Diarrhea (for Step 1-3)
Diarrhea is a very common topic on the USMLEs. One big focus with some questions is not recall but knowing how the diarrhea actually unfolds. These questions often have answer chances that do not list bugs but list mechanisms. This podcast helps to clear up how diarrhea actually arises so you can answer these questions correctly.
Divine Intervention Episode 510: Obstructive Sleep Apnea and It’s Many Integrations (Step 1-3)
OSA is commonly tested on the USMLE exams. But they also love using this as a topic to hit a bunch of other concepts that people do not think about. In this podcast, I address these concepts and also make a solid effort to help you understand the material.
