Divine Intervention Episode 293 – NBME Gastroenterology Series 1 (for all USMLEs).
In this ultra HY episode, I begin a separate review of gastroenterology with a discussion of lots of associated anatomy, embryology, and physiology. I do a lot of explaining so you’re not just memorizing random facts. I also make tons of integrations across multiple disciplines. To sign up for the 40 hr Step 1 course or the 16.5 hr 2CK Course/NBME test taking strategies course, shoot me an email through the website.
Divine Intervention Episode 253 – Starling Forces and The NBMEs (for Step 1-3).
In this episode, I review a topic that is floridly HY to know for all the USMLE exams (Step 1, 2CK, and 3). This topic has a unique way of presenting itself in physiological/pathological scenarios on these exams. I discuss the vast majority of these scenarios in this podcast. Pay close attention here. There are no attached slides.
Divine Intervention Episode 252 – Post Exposure Prophylaxis and The NBMEs.
In this short but HY podcast, I discuss the most common NBME scenarios that relate to post exposure prophylaxis for a host of infectious diseases. There are no attached slides.
Divine Intervention Episode 251 – The HY Thyroid Podcast (For Step 1-3).
In this podcast, I cover pretty much everything you need to know about the thyroid on NBME exams (especially 2CK). I discuss all commonly tested pathologies. You can easily become a thyroid expert after working through this short 35 min podcast. The only HY thing I forgot to mention here is the bit on Autoimmune Polyglandular Syndrome Type 2 (Hashimoto’s, Addisons, And T1DM with AIRE gene mutations). There are no attached slides.
Divine Intervention Episode 250 – The Ultra HY Vaccine Podcast (and upcoming 2CK Course 8.8.20).
In this super HY podcast, I discuss the commonly tested topic of vaccines (and their schedules). This stuff shows up a lot on the USMLEs (1-3), Family Med, Peds, OBGYN, and IM Shelf exams. I take a somewhat different approach to make it super easy to learn. First, I discuss lots of common exam scenarios so you’re not just memorizing information. Second, I give a bunch of rules that makes the information extremely digestible; and third, I describe vaccines for a few “special NBME populations”. Trust me, this podcast will make the vaccine schedules a lot more palatable to learn. There are no attached slides.
Divine Intervention Episode 249 -Blood Oxygen Content and the USMLEs.
In this short pulm focused podcast, I discuss a host of common exam scenarios that deal with factors that affect blood O2 content. There are no attached slides.
Divine Intervention Episode 242 – USMLE Dermatology (Part 1 of 3) + 2CK, 10 hr Course (6/27/20).
In this episode, I begin a 3 part comprehensive series that should thoroughly walk you through dermatology as tested on the USMLE exams. I encourage you to look up representative pictures of said pathologies. I discuss classic presentations and some micro integrations. There are no attached slides. Also the next 2CK, 10 hr 1 day high yield course takes place on the 27th of this month. Email me to sign up.
Divine Intervention Episode 226 – The USMLE and Iron Labs.
In this short but HY podcast, I describe the mechanisms and classic pathologies tested on the USMLE exams in the context of iron labs. If you digest the material from this podcast, you’ll essentially never have to memorize how labs change in many of the anemias. They’ll just intuitively make perfect sense. I also clear up a lot of confusing concepts for students. Definitely HY for Step 1-3. There are no attached slides.
Divine Intervention Episode 207 – The USMLE And Geriatrics Part 1.
In this episode, I discuss a large variety of HY geriatric topics that the USMLE expects you to know (falls, ADLs, depression, pressure ulcers, incontinence, cognition, and others). I strongly recommend getting this and the military podcast (Ep 204) down. Super HY for the more recent exams. There are no attached slides.
