This podcast is HY. Many people just memorize cardiac signs. The USMLEs over the last year has started placing an emphasis on making Qs a lot more challenging by describing these signs in weird integrated ways which makes it hard for some to even realize what is being tested. In this podcast, I begin to discuss some of these signs. I’ll hit some more within the next few podcasts.

Divine Intervention Episode 539: 50 HY Corticosteroid Facts To Know For Step 1-3 (+ PDF worksheet)
This podcast is ridiculously HY. It will generate lots of easy points on your test and is short, sweet, and to the point. Divine Intervention Episode 524: The Clutch Osteomyelitis Podcast (for Step 1-3)
Osteomyelitis is surprisingly one of the highest yield topics tested on the USMLE exams. It is a topic that is best understood in domains. In this short podcast, I address these “different domains” so you’re able to tackle them easily on your test. Definitely worth a listen. Email me if you’re interested in the 20 hr Step 2/3 class starting tomorrow.
Divine Intervention Episode 515: Ventilator Physiology Part 2 (for Step 1-3)
This podcast is a continuation of Episode 65 which was an introduction to ventilator physiology. In Part 2, I focus on CPAP and PEEP while making tons of integrations with how they affect multiple pulmonary and cardiovascular parameters. This is a classic source of “physiology arrow questions” on the USMLE exams. I also end with a life lesson on fulfilling your dreams the right way.
Divine Intervention Episode 512: Mechanisms of Diarrhea (for Step 1-3)
Diarrhea is a very common topic on the USMLEs. One big focus with some questions is not recall but knowing how the diarrhea actually unfolds. These questions often have answer chances that do not list bugs but list mechanisms. This podcast helps to clear up how diarrhea actually arises so you can answer these questions correctly.
Divine Intervention Episode 510: Obstructive Sleep Apnea and It’s Many Integrations (Step 1-3)
OSA is commonly tested on the USMLE exams. But they also love using this as a topic to hit a bunch of other concepts that people do not think about. In this podcast, I address these concepts and also make a solid effort to help you understand the material.
Divine Intervention Episode 504: A Super HY Discussion of Some USMLE Concepts + Testing Considerations (Step 2/3 Rapid Review Series 110)
This podcast is technically part of the rapid review series for Step 2/3. But there’s a twist here. I spend time discussing concepts, explaining pathophysiology, and showing integrations. But beyond this, I spend a decent amount of time talking about thought processes you should have if you plan to be successful with taking the newer USMLE exams. There’ll be a podcast coming soon on why people fail the USMLE exams and why there’s an increased number of failures.
Divine Intervention Episode 503: LFTs and The USMLEs
LFTs show up in one way or the other on practically every USMLE exam. In this podcast, I lay a solid foundation and use numerous vignettes and conceptual integrations to help you understand the material. This should help tremendously with these questions on test day. I delve into some concepts that are not found in many resources but occasionally show up on the test. Another recommended podcast in this series is Ep 257 on bilirubin. Email me via the website if you would love to join the USMLE classes taking place this week.
Divine Intervention Episode 502: USMLE Step 2/3 Rapid Review Series 109
In this podcast, I discuss a host of high yield material from many disciplines that show up on the USMLEs. I also spend time on some basic science details revolving around the immune system that are Step 2/3 worthy. I end with a life lesson on “moving on”.
Divine Intervention Episode 500: USMLE Rapid Review Series 108 (For Step 1-3)
Since this is the 500th episode, I decided to make a super HY review that will benefit any USMLE or COMLEX test taker (Step 1-3 or COMLEX 1-3). I spend tons of time on cardiac pressures and make lots of integrations across multiple disciplines. Thank you for your support so far with the website and I wish you a happy new year. Email me if you’re interested in any of the January review classes. On to episode 501!
